Business hours vary throughout the Caribbean and can change with the seasons.
Many countries in the Caribbean operate on business hours different that you are probably used to experiencing at home. In general, Caribbean businesses open between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., and typically close between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
In addition, some Caribbean stores close for at least an hour in the middle of the day for lunch and are not open on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, or holidays. Some stores even operate based on the arrival and departure times of cruise ships.
